Key Responsibilities

The Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Employee and Legal Services communications unit, including the development and implementation of communication strategies and materials. This role involves collaborating with colleagues across the organization to support corporate internal communications functions and corporate culture initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality communications products and services for the ELS division;
  • Providing guidance to staff and clients on communications strategies, messaging, and tactics;
  • Reviewing and editing all communications materials to ensure they align with corporate cultural approaches, plain language principles, and divisional priorities;

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. Experience working in the public sector and/or a large, complex organization is an asset.
