About the Role

This Senior Communications Specialist position requires a high level of expertise in content creation, project management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive crisis management framework outlining internal and external communication protocols
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for receiving ad-hoc interview requests and develop scripting for Board Chair or press releases
  3. Support the Director to create a long-term Communications strategy aligned with the Strategic Plan

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications and have 3-5 years of experience in Communications roles involving content creation, business writing, public advertising efforts, and facilitating media relations.
