About the Role

The Payment Risk Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to manage risk across the entire payment lifecycle. They will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment transactions
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional operational teams to upgrade and deploy payment risk-related processes and procedures
  • Ensure that a robust payment risk management framework is in place and continuously reviewed for effectiveness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree in a related field
  • Relevant risk management certifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management in the payments or financial services industry
  • 5+ years of managing merchant acquiring for North American Payment Facilitators or FinTech
