Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Nursing & Homemakers Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dental practice setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with dentists on patient care and treatment plans
  • Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Take dental impressions, apply fluoride treatment, and remove stains and deposits from teeth
  • Instruct patients on oral hygiene and provide personalized care to meet their needs
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease and promote overall oral health
  • Take, develop, and mount X-rays as needed
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
