Key Responsibilities:- Consult with dentists on patient care and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Take dental impressions, instruct patients on oral hygiene, and apply fluoride treatment.
- Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease, remove stains and deposits from teeth, and take X-rays.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Repetitive tasks and manual dexterity required.
