Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Nursing & Homemakers Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral health care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with dentists on patient care to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Take dental impressions, instruct patients on oral hygiene, and apply fluoride treatment to prevent gum disease.
  • Remove stains and deposits from teeth, take and develop X-rays, and mount them for accurate diagnosis.
  • Work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods, and combining sitting, standing, and walking.
