Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Nursing & Homemakers Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with dentists to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with dentists on patient care and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Take dental impressions, instruct patients on oral hygiene, and apply fluoride treatment.
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease, remove stains and deposits from teeth, and take X-rays.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:
  • Repetitive tasks and manual dexterity required.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
