Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our Demolition team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for performing full tender processes, conducting quantity take-offs and cost estimations, and reviewing scope and bid forms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full tender process from invitation to submission for a 100% self-performance demolition company
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations
  • Review scope and complete bid forms
  • Conduct site visits and attend bid interviews
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers
  • Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) with clients
  • Maintain the tender tracker and track submissions
  • Follow up with clients throughout the bidding process
  • Review production with the operations team
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Present bid opportunities to management
  • Seek new demolition opportunities
  • Review public demolition opportunities on platforms such as MERX, BIDS and TENDERS, BIDDINGO, ARIBA, etc.
  • Bring new clients and business to the company
  • Proactively seek out fresh avenues for demolition projects, utilizing industry networks, market analysis, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • 4+ years construction experience
  • 2+ years demolition focused estimating experience
  • Mid/High-rise demolition estimating experience
  • Experience working for a specialist demolition and abatement business is highly preferred
