Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Demolition Estimator to lead our demolition estimating team. As a Senior Demolition Estimator, you will be responsible for performing full tender processes from invitation to submission, conducting quantity take-offs and cost estimations, reviewing scopes, and completing bid forms.
You will also conduct site visits and attend bid interviews, communicate and negotiate with suppliers, prepare RFIs with clients, maintain the tender tracker, and track submissions. Additionally, you will follow up with clients throughout the bidding process, review production with the operations team, mentor and train junior team members, present bid opportunities to management, seek new demolition opportunities, and review public demolition opportunities on platforms such as MERX, BIDS, and TENDERS.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, specifically in demolition estimating, with at least 4 years of experience and 2 years of focused estimating experience. Mid-to-high-rise demolition estimating experience is highly preferred, as well as experience working for a specialist demolition and abatement business.
