We're different from big banks in the way we engage our employees - caring, responsive, and passionate about growing talent. Our reputation is built on a culture that values inclusivity, diverse perspectives, and collaboration. Employees love working at CWB, and you will too.

The Opportunity

The Operational Fraud Response Analyst plays a critical role in protecting clients from fraud. This position requires in-depth knowledge of CWB systems and processes to quickly and effectively handle fraud events, supporting banking center staff with urgent and complex requests.

  • Act as a single point of contact for banking centers requiring action to contain fraud events.

  • Support banking centers in fraud-related reporting, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and provide solutions for complex requests and issues, escalating to senior leadership or internal teams when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be adaptable to high volumes and able to perform under pressure to provide timely responses to the business.
  • Ensure timely delivery of critical services related to fraud containment, including handling compromised accounts, processing large dollar transactions, and managing access to payment channels with no/limited recourse.
  • Elevated timeline requirements/time pressures due to providing support to the branch network with highly time-sensitive client transactions and requests.
  • Develop and implement internal processes, identifying procedure enhancements, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Requirements

This position requires:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent banking experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within banking, preferably in operations, centralized, or support centers.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. A solid understanding of banking policies, procedures, laws, rules, regulations, and compliance requirements is essential.
