Position Overview

Vantix Systems Inc is looking for a skilled Web/Data Analytics Systems Analyst to engage in diverse projects that leverage data-driven insights.

This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring the candidate to be based in Edmonton, Alberta.



Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize analytics tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions.
  • Adapt to emerging technologies and rapidly learn new applications.


Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a 2-year diploma in Computer Engineering/System Technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks/Spark is mandatory.


Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies, including .NET (Framework, Core, and .NET 4.8+).
  • Experience with additional tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Azure Functions, LakeFS, Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Azure Web Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Portal.
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, .NET, and DAX.
  • Data modeling expertise.


Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work environment with options for contract extension based on performance and project needs.

Compensation

The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
