About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust ETL pipelines for various data product builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and robust ETL pipelines in distributed clusters.
  • Create Microsoft-SQL database solutions and integrate DevOps practices into the development workflow using CI/CD best practices.
  • Work on projects that involve data science, data engineering, and/or AI, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to plan and design creative solutions.
  • Develop dimensional modeling techniques and work with relational database modeling techniques.
  • Collaborate with the data warehouse/business intelligence team to design and implement data storage systems.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience building high-performance ETL pipelines in distributed clusters.
  • 3 years' experience creating Microsoft-SQL database solutions.
  • 5 years' experience with projects that involved data science, data engineering, and/or AI.
  • 3 years' experience integrating DevOps practices into the development workflow using CI/CD best practices.
  • 5 years' experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to plan and design creative solutions.
  • 4 years' experience with dimensional modeling techniques.
  • 3 years' experience with Python development.
  • 4 years' experience with relational database modeling techniques.
  • 4 years' experience working in a data warehouse/business intelligence or relevant data environment in either a development or support role.
Nice to Have Skills
  • 5 years' direct, hands-on experience with design and implementation of data security, data privacy, policies, data de-identification/anonymization, data audits/reviews, synthetic data.
  • 5 years' experience in Agile project methodology.
  • 4 years' experience in building analytical and quantitative analysis models.
  • 5 years' experience in understanding complex business questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem.
  • 5 years' experience using Hadoop, Microsoft SQL, and unstructured data.
  • 4 years' experience with projects spanning multiple technical environments.
  • 4 years' experience working across both business and technology.
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, and vendors.
Work Environment

This is a contract position with a possible 1-year extension. The hourly rate is negotiable.
