Pizza House Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza House. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as culinary genres.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
