Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Technology department, you will be responsible for the steady-state operations of all systems and changes by building and managing key ITIL capabilities.

Our recent expansion into the Canadian market has created a strategic opportunity to further strengthen our technology team.

Your Role:

You will oversee the delivery of services to all GFS Canada teams in an agile environment. You will work closely with the Australian Service Management team to ensure consistent service processes for all our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining service levels, monitoring and reporting on service quality, and ensuring seamless implementation of changes with minimal impact on business operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Service Management: Ensure efficient delivery of services, maintain service levels, and report on quality improvements.
  • Incident Management: Rapidly respond to incidents, minimize disruption, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Problem Management: Identify and manage underlying problems causing incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Operations management with a strong understanding of modern engineering practices and public cloud.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Earnings Estimate:

We estimate that this role offers a salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 CAD per annum, commensurate with experience.
