Conservation de la nature Canada (CNC) est à la recherche d’un(e) vice-président(e) régional(e) (VPR, Saskatchewan) pour se joindre à une équipe qui travaille à la protection de nos milieux naturels les plus précieux et qui sont sources de vie.

CNC est le chef de file des organismes non gouvernementaux voués à la conservation de terres privées au Canada. Organisme de bienfaisance, il travaille en partenariat avec des particuliers, des communautés autochtones, des entreprises, des gouvernements et d’autres organisations à but non lucratif pour protéger les plus importants trésors naturels au pays et fournir des solutions fondées sur la nature. Il réalise sa mission grâce à son approche collaborative et axée sur des données probantes. Depuis 1962, CNC et ses partenaires ont contribué à conserver plus de 15 millions d’hectares de milieux naturels, d’un océan à l’autre et à l’autre. L’organisation a son bureau national à Toronto et des bureaux régionaux à travers le pays.

Le ou la VPR de Saskatchewan est responsable de la direction et de la supervision des activités de CNC dans la région de la Saskatchewan.

**DESCRIPTION DU POSTE**

Relevant directement du vice-président, Opérations, le ou la VPR de Saskatchewan travaille en étroite collaboration avec le Conseil consultatif régional et fait partie intégrante de l’équipe des cadres supérieur(e)s et de l’équipe de direction des opérations. Le ou la VPR de Saskatchewan est responsable d’assurer le leadership, la direction et l’orientation des activités opérationnelles et de tout le personnel régional de Saskatchewan en vue de faire progresser les objectifs organisationnels de CNC dans la région de la Saskatchewan.

Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec d’autres cadres supérieur(e)s et avec un large éventail de parties prenantes internes et externes, le ou la VPR de Saskatchewan mettra à profit des habiletés interpersonnelles avancées pour communiquer une vision convaincante qui suscite l’enthousiasme et l’engagement à l’égard de la mission de CNC. Il ou elle veillera à ce que CNC connaisse une croissance soutenue en améliorant la visibilité de l’organisme auprès des grand(e)s donateur(trice)s, des partenaires et de la communauté de la conservation.

Par un leadership éclairé qui guide des actions pragmatiques, le ou la VPR de Saskatchewan gérera avec compétence le budget régional d’environ $13.5 millions. En plus de diriger et mobiliser une équipe d’une qurante d’employé(e)s, il ou elle établira et renforcera les relations de l’organisme avec divers partenaires, notamment les peuples autochtones, le gouvernement, les organismes communautaires, les bénévoles, les donateur(-trice)s et les autres appuis. Le développement et la consolidation de ces importantes relations locales et régionales permettront d’assurer la pérennité de CNC et l’atteinte de ses priorités stratégiques. En plus de veiller à ce que l’organisme ait une présence et une voix fortes dans la région de la Saskatchewan et au-delà de ses frontières, la personne retenue agira comme ambassadrice passionnée et convaincante de CNC.

Le télétravail ou le mode hybride sont possibles, mais des déplacements vers les bureaux régionaux de CNC et d’autres lieux dans la région de la Saskatchewan ou au Canada seront requis selon les besoins.

En tant qu’agente de changement et leader inspirante, la personne retenue contribuera à refléter l’engagement de CNC en faveur de l’équité et de l’inclusion, en veillant à ce que la voix, les canaux de communication et les produits de l’organisation reflètent la riche diversité de nos collectivités. La personne choisie favorisera l’harmonisation, le renforcement des capacités et l’innovation tout en appuyant une culture de transparence, de reddition de comptes et de responsabilisation (_empowerment_).

**RESPONSABILITÉS**

**_ Planification stratégique_**
- Concevoir et exécuter la stratégie annuelle de l’Ontario et l’approche planifiée des livrables afin que la province puisse continuer à mettre en œuvre des mesures de conservation de premier plan, de manière indépendante et en collaboration avec des partenaires.
- Positionner CNC en Ontario pour favoriser sa croissance soutenue en rehaussant de manière stratégique son profil auprès des grand(e)s donateur(-trice)s, des partenaires et de la communauté de la conservation.
- Travailler avec diligence au sein de l’équipe de l’Ontario et de tout l’organisme pour inculquer une éthique et une approche propices à l’harmonisation des messages dans toute la région afin de faire entendre une seule grande voix pour la conservation, au service de l’expression cohérente de la marque et de l’orientation stratégique.
