Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Canada Micro Services Incorporated. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues.
  • Consult technical manuals, user guides, and other resources to research and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on the use of computer systems, software, and other technology-related tools.
  • Collect and maintain a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a help desk or IT support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed in a standard office environment with minimal physical demands.
  • May require occasional travel to client sites or other locations as needed.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
