Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in emergency situations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending emergency calls, assisting paramedics, and providing support in CPR and resuscitation. You will also be required to move and lift patients, as well as drive on blue lights. We are looking for someone who is physically able to perform these tasks and has a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend emergency calls and provide support to paramedics
  • Assist in CPR and resuscitation
  • Move and lift patients as required
  • Drive on blue lights
  • Undertake daily vehicle inspections and restock vehicles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a full UK/EU driving licence and either full C1 entitlement or a Provisional C1 Licence. Additionally, you will need to be able to attend emergency care and blue light driver training.
