Island Health is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Activity Assistant. To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A Grade 10 education and completion of a recognized Activity Assistant program.
  • Two (2) years of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A valid BC Class IV driver's license (unrestricted).
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to deal with others in a professional and respectful manner.
  • The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • The ability to teach and instruct others.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
