Job Title: Dispatcher, Trucks

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Trucks to join our team at CANADA WISE DRIVING SCHOOL INC.

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher, Trucks will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods.
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching and minimize delays.
  • Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective response.
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and safety.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of dispatch management service software, electronic mail, spreadsheet, and MS Windows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
