At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in life sciences. As a Senior Account Growth Manager, you'll be part of our Sales & Marketing team, driving commercial growth and market penetration in Canada.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity where you'll focus on all account development activities, including strategy execution and management, ongoing communication of value proposition and value-added programs, resource coordination, price management, and achievement of forecasted profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive corporate relationships by understanding customer life cycles and contract timeframes.
  • Coordinate needs and opportunity assessments across locations.
  • Measure customer satisfaction and develop strategies to improve.
  • Drive the Request for Proposal process.
  • Coordinate and communicate business development initiatives and strategies.
  • Identify target profitability, terms, and conditions.
  • Build and run the account strategy and implementation plan.
  • Conduct business reviews with customers.
  • Provide direction to managers/sales representatives on expectations for servicing accounts.
  • Drive market share improvement and identify standard marketing programs/promotions relevant to customers.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in science and industry segment experience. Your education should include a Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Business, or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. You should have at least 10 years of meaningful work experience, with a proven track record of sales success.

The ideal candidate will possess confirmed ability to maintain and grow senior-level customer relationships across multiple areas, strong financial analysis, negotiation, and project management skills, and leadership skills in a matrix environment. Fluency in French language skills is preferred. You should be able to travel to customer locations as needed.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
