About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at 12357399 CANADA INC. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood floors, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and prepare floors for installations.
  • Removal and Cleanup: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Abilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to distinguish between colors is required.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Efficient communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Judgement and Organization: Strong judgement and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
