About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Project Epoxy Floors Inc. as a Flooring Installation Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing resilient floor coverings in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Measure and Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings to ensure a precise fit.
  • Repair and Maintain Flooring: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of the installation.
  • Ensure a Safe Working Environment: Work in a dusty environment and be prepared to handle odours.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Various locations, with a physically demanding work environment.
  • Work Conditions: 44 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
