About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at 12357399 CANADA INC. as a key member of our flooring installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
  • Installation: Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood floors, and inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Abilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
