Job Title: Food Preparation and Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation and Service Specialist to join our team at Earls Penticton. The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a health care plan, parking, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
