About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team at Robert J. Carter Law Corporation. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise Clients: Provide expert legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, and represent them in legal matters.
  • Perform Administrative Functions: Manage administrative tasks related to the practice of law, including document preparation and filing.
  • Plead Cases: Represent clients in court, tribunals, and boards, and negotiate settlements on their behalf.
  • Draw Up Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts and statements of legal opinion.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate settlements of civil disputes on behalf of clients.
  • Represent Interests: Represent the interests of corporations and employers in legal matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
