Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Childcare Provider to ensure the well-being and development of children in a family setting. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at creating a nurturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment
  • Setting: Employer's home
  • Environment: Non-smoking
Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Shop for food and household supplies as needed.
  • Travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household tasks.
  • Provide care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Discipline children according to parental guidelines.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social skills.
  • Maintain records of daily activities and health information for the children.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Prepare children for rest periods.
  • Supervise and care for children during daily activities.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • Support the emotional well-being of children.
  • Assist children with homework as needed.
  • Provide personal care and companionship.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Feed or assist in feeding children.
  • Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
