Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at 9486-8452 Québec Inc. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, as well as for Indigenous people, youth, and mature workers.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • English or French language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
