Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing access control, traffic control, and audits at our busy export terminal in Delta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control and Traffic Management: Provide secure access to the terminal and manage traffic flow to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
  • Regular Foot Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the terminal to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Monitor CCTV cameras to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Incident Response: Attend to incidents, de-escalate situations, and write detailed reports to communicate issues to management and clients.
  • Customer Service: Interact with clients and the general public, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, including maintaining the site schedule, arranging training for site officers, and auditing equipment inventory.
  • Communication: Respond to emails and other communications in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one year of work experience as a supervisor or manager, and minimum one year of work experience in the security industry.
  • Qualifications: Class 5 BC Drivers License and reliable personal vehicle to commute to the site.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, professionalism, and observation skills, as well as confidence approaching and leading in emergency situations.
  • Physical Abilities: Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift, including indoors, outdoors, in all weather conditions, up and down stairwells, and over uneven surfaces.
