About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 10688436 Canada Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development
    • Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Logistics and Planning
    • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations for trips.
    • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
    • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
    • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
    • Complete accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, and maintenance reports.
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check and driver's validity license check.
    • Pass a drug test.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel cross-border.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Be able to handle heavy loads and sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be a team player with strong judgment and flexibility.
    • Be hardworking, patient, and willing to work 40-60 hours per week.

  • AZ class license.
