About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 10688436 Canada Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across international borders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Driving: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo, as well as transport and handle dangerous goods.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, valid driver's license, and willingness to undergo a criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and drug test.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, maintenance and repair reports, and trans-border documentation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgment, teamwork, hardworking, and patience.
