Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at 10688436 Canada Inc. as a key member of our transportation operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit production and operational reports to management.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs for team members.
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities.
    • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
    • Organized and team-oriented individual.
  • Computer Skills
    • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Industry Experience
    • Experience in the trucking industry.
  • Work Conditions
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 hours per week.
