Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our North America sales team as a Territory Sales Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling, promoting, and demonstrating the RIDGID & Greenlee lines of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will reside in the Vancouver, BC area and have a strong understanding of the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present annual business plans and forecasts to deliver incremental sales growth
- Provide excellent customer support through field product demonstrations, training, and technical support
- Be the subject matter authority for the product, applications, and pricing program for your given territory
- Develop and own relationships with key distributor partners and end-users
- Track weekly progress of calls, demonstrations, and opportunities via CRM software
Requirements:
- Experience with distribution channels, with an emphasis on Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Industrial
- 3+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or other relevant subject areas; OR 5+ years of relevant experience instead of a bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated success in formulating, presenting, executing, and measuring a territory business plan to deliver incremental sales growth
- Ability to work in a matrix-managed environment with shared goals
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organization, time, and territory management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or technical support of B2B sales preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; CRM application experience a plus
