Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hot Meal Box Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our food service establishment runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food and beverage servers, kitchen and food service helpers, and staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Hire and train new staff members to ensure that our team is well-equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our food service establishment operates within budget.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our food service establishment is operating efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our food service establishment is meeting its goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience in food service is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
