Urban Agriculture Director

At MicroHabitat, we are committed to improving the urban environment and the lifestyles of city dwellers. As our Chief Beverage Officer, you will play a key role in implementing our urban agriculture program, which consists of installing and maintaining urban farms on properties throughout the city. Your responsibilities will include approving the hiring of other positions within the farming department, training and onboarding chief farmers and lead farmers, and ensuring quality control in all cities. You will also serve as the human resource manager for the farming department, overseeing the training and onboarding of chief farmers and lead farmers, and supervising the implementation and standardization of suppliers and supply chains. Additionally, you will be responsible for safety and quality inspections throughout all cities, creating and approving employee contracts, and managing MicroHabitat insurance policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Approving the hiring of other positions within the farming department
- Training and onboarding of chief farmers & lead farmers
- Quality control in all cities
- Human Resource manager in the farming department of all cities
- Supervisory role in the implementation & standardization of suppliers and supply chains
- Safety and quality inspections throughout all the cities
- Creation of employee contracts
- Approval of employee contracts
- Main point of contact for any infrastructure & safety matter and concern in the company throughout all cities
- Managing MicroHabitat insurance policies
