Urban Farming Production Lead

As a leading innovator in vertical agriculture, we've established six state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities in Montreal. These high-tech farms produce a diverse range of crops, from leafy greens to climbing plants, supplying the local community with nutritious and flavorful ingredients.
To support our ongoing growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee cultivation and operational activities at one or more of our urban farm locations. This role is crucial in ensuring maximum production efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative plant science strategies and cultivation techniques, managing budgets effectively for assigned sites.
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled operations professionals, overseeing weekly tasks and providing ongoing support to ensure seamless workflow.
- Establish and enforce rigorous operational procedures to optimize production processes and resource utilization across all greenhouse facilities.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance production yields and overall farm efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned sites, proactively addressing any challenges and implementing solutions to ensure successful crop cycles.
