International Admissions Operations Team Lead

The International Admissions Operations Team Lead plays a pivotal role in Sask Polytechnic's Enrolment Services, reporting directly to the Manager of Admissions and Enrolment. This critical position is responsible for managing the international admissions process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving strategic enrolment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate applications from prospective international students, making informed admission decisions and ensuring seamless enrolment into academic programs.
- Lead a dedicated team of International and Domestic Admissions Specialists, providing guidance, training, and direction to optimize day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Enrolment Management, domestic admissions, domestic recruitment, International Enrolment, international recruitment, international student advisors, Learner Pathways, Program Heads, Academic Chairs, and other internal and external stakeholders to align the international admissions office with the institution's strategic priorities.
- Develop and maintain a resource library and learning network to support the training and development of international admissions specialists, counsellors, educational agents, and the International Enrolment team.
- Champion the implementation and utilization of the Admissions module of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring its successful integration into the workflow and alignment with the organization's strategic vision and the Strategic Enrolment Management plan.
- Diploma in Social Sciences, Business, Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Three years of recent and relevant experience in an international admissions office or progressive involvement in admissions, including at least two years of experience in international credential evaluation and admissions frameworks within Canadian post-secondary institutions.
- Proficient with managing data in multiple systems, including database software, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of student records and data.
- Experience with utilizing MS Office, admissions and enrolment software, CRM systems, and other comparable systems.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and trends and make informed decisions and/or recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work to accomplish objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively use various communication systems and tools to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Valuing diversity and promoting a positive, diverse, and inclusive work and learning environment.
- Leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster an organizational environment that encourages personal productivity, job satisfaction, and professional growth.
- Operational management skills, with the ability to lead research related to international credentials and education systems, drive projects and enhancements related to international admissions, and represent the admissions team in other institutional projects.
- Training and development skills, with the ability to design and deliver training sessions on admissions processes and systems, provide ongoing training and coaching to colleagues, and develop and maintain a resource library and learning network.
