At Universal Railway Operations, we are currently seeking a Process/Maintenance Operator to support our **Fort Saskatchewan team at Heartland Sulphur LP.**
This Operator works under the direction of the Shift Lead, who is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment associated within the sulphur forming and handling terminal. This position will conduct and monitor preventive maintenance duties for all areas of the plant and document accordingly. They will also learn and fill in on shift when required to operate and monitor plant performance from field to ensure plant operations and production requirements are met daily.

- H2S Caustic Scrubbing
- Wet Prill Sulphur Forming
- Remelt Unit
- Material handling system
- Molten sulphur degassing and H2S caustic scrubbing
- Fire tube and Water tube Boiler Operations
- Front end Loader, Skidsteer, Railcar Mover, and manlift
- Class 4 Power Engineering ticket is required
- Ability to work and get along with all co-workers
- Communicate effectively with people verbally and written
- The ability to operate Heavy Equipment is considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability work independently
- Physical capability to perform the job duties
- Competent in the use and care of hand tools
