Job Title: General Dentist

Calian Health Services is seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team in providing comprehensive oral care to members of the Canadian Armed Forces at CFB Esquimalt in Victoria, BC.

Job Summary

This part-time position offers 15 hours of work per week, with potential for increased hours in the future. The successful candidate will provide dental examination, diagnosis, and management of various dental conditions, as well as develop care plans with patients and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dental examination, diagnosis, and management of dental conditions
  • Develop care plans with patients and the healthcare team
  • Perform therapeutic procedures in fixed and removable prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and preventative dentistry
  • Provide administrative support, including updating patient databases and maintaining patient records
Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from an accredited Canadian or American dental school
  • Licensed in Good Standing to practice as a General Dentist with the British Columbia College Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
  • CPR Level C / AED certification
Additional Requirements
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance
  • Bilingualism (English / French) is a strong asset

Calian Health Services offers a competitive hourly rate of $110.
