Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Bayshore Medical Personnel in Esquimalt, British Columbia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide mental health services to our clients in a primary health care setting, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing counseling and life skills programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health services to clients in a primary health care setting
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans
  • Provide counseling and life skills programming
  • Work with clients to identify and address mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
  • Certificate in Mental Health Nursing or a certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association - CPMHN(C)
  • Current and valid nursing license in BC
  • Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C
  • Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years)
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years)
