Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Transformer Design Professional to join our team at WR Transformateurs inc. in Saint-Alphonse de Granby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed diagrams for transformer design using industry-standard tools.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates based on specifications provided.
  • Act as a resource person for new product development, offering expertise and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain technical design documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify and address potential system failures, implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with 3D designers to convey design information effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a field related to electricity or a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as an electrical transformer designer.
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills for electrical and mechanical plans.
  • Proficiency in English or French (both languages are accepted).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks software is also viewed favorably.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and career growth.
