Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Transformer Efficiency Specialist to join our team at WR Transformateurs inc. in Saint-Alphonse de Granby, Quebec.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of dry-type electrical transformers, where you will be responsible for ensuring transformer efficiency and conducting tests.

You will interpret test result data, read and interpret blueprints, and use various standard and specialized tools to adhere to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests (ratio, impedance, load loss, no-load loss, etc.) to ensure transformer efficiency
  • Interpret test result data to identify areas for improvement
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand transformer design and functionality
  • Use various standard and specialized tools to conduct tests and maintain equipment
  • Adhere to high quality standards in all aspects of work
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Skilled in manual tasks and able to handle various loads
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Resourceful and autonomous, with a focus on attention to detail and quality
