Job Title: Woodworking Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at SSS Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and woodworking, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in construction and woodworking
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment:

  • Construction site
  • Office

Language: English

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
