Strategic Community Initiatives Director

Job Summary:
The Director, Strategic Community Initiatives will lead the development and implementation of innovative initiatives and services across the Regional Care Integration Programs. This role will act as an advocate for integration and innovation, facilitating partnerships and collaborations to advance quality of care and system sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to advance quality of care and system sustainability
- Act as an advocate for integration and innovation initiatives
- Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders
- Lead and manage department staff, including Human Resources planning, recruitment, performance management, and professional development
- Develop and manage department budget
- Direct and manage the innovation cycle from idea generation through to execution
- Facilitate multidisciplinary innovation teams in the design of accelerated processes
- Develop strategies and oversee the introduction of innovations and technology into clinical services
- Lead and collaborate on private and public partnerships, engaging and involving key stakeholders
- Identify value-add opportunities for FH to partner with third parties
- Structure and negotiate the terms of agreement with third-party organizations
- Develop accountability and management frameworks to monitor the outcomes of partnership arrangements
- Identify investors to develop and fund key business opportunities
- Build critical strategic partnerships with health authorities, academic and research institutions, community partners, government partners, and private industry
- Liaise and collaborate with private and public sectors to facilitate knowledge transfer
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Information Sciences, Health Informatics, or other related field
- Years of related experience in supporting innovation and development, complex project management, digital strategies, and/or system implementations across an organization
- Competencies: Demonstrated leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous; Professional/Technical Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to act as a champion for change and innovation, demonstrated knowledge of industry leaders in innovation, demonstrated ability to be creative, curious, and collaborative in generating ideas to solve key challenges
