Job Overview

DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society is seeking an experienced Senior Program Director to lead the development, innovation, and management of programs and initiatives within the Families and Wellbeing department.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen community connections and advance organizational objectives.
  • Oversee contract management, ensuring timely deliverables and effective communication with funders.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop quality assurance systems and evaluation procedures.
  • BUILD strong relationships with internal stakeholders, community partners, and external organizations to enhance program development and implementation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in program and business development, project management, and leadership in a community-based non-profit setting.
  • Proven proposal writing skills, knowledge of federal and provincial funding processes, and familiarity with community resources and organizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and judgment, with a proven track record of managing time, multiple priorities, and high-pressure situations.
  • Mastery of business planning, change management, and performance execution, with a focus on meeting and exceeding milestones and KPIs.
