About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Staff to join our team at Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to students who are deaf in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with physical needs and follow up on specialized programs set up by other agencies/professionals.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary setting to provide individual and group programs to students who are deaf.
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff using American Sign Language (ASL).
Requirements:
  • Community College certificate and/or equivalent training, education, and working experience in a child-related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff using American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
