Job Summary



  • Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year


The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in tile installation and must be physically fit to handle heavy loads and work in dusty environments. You will also be required to supervise other workers and instruct apprentices.



Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces to be covered by measuring and marking them with precision
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels and spread them evenly
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers on site
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs


Requirements



  • High school graduation certificate and 3-5 years of experience in tile installation
  • Dusty working environment and ability to lift heavy loads
  • Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings
  • Experience in supervising other workers and instructing apprentices
