Northern Reflections is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Team Leader to join our team. As a Store Team Leader, you will play a key role in assisting Store Management with the day-to-day operations of the store, leading the sales team to achieve sales budgets, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Store Management in delivering company objectives and initiatives
- Meet or exceed personal and store sales budgets
- Lead the sales team to achieve key performance indicators
- Coach and develop sales associates to use fundamental selling skills
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided in the store
- Promote company campaigns and brand awareness
- Process customer purchases quickly and accurately
- Coach and provide feedback to sales associates on productivity measures
- Assist with managing contests, promotions, and events
- Recruit and develop sales associates
- Lead the sales team to achieve sales budgets through motivation and coaching
- Plan and implement visual merchandising and store layouts
- Maintain a clean and well-presented store
- Prepare store schedules as required
Requirements
- 1-2 years retail/customer service experience in a specialty store, preferably apparel
- Proven ability to attain or exceed sales goals
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team to reach sales goals
- Passion for fashion and ability to build outfits for customers
- Demonstrates initiative and works well with a productive team
- Flexible and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to adapt to customer and store team needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with confidence
