About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Retail Store Manager to lead our team at Wasaga Esso. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Assign tasks and duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Hire, train, and develop staff members to meet business needs
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise as required
  • Establish and maintain work schedules to meet business demands
  • Sell merchandise and manage cash handling responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues promptly
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stockroom efficiency
  • Supervise payroll administration and manage financial transactions


Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Proven track record of improving sales performance and customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English language
  • Permanent full-time position with 30-44 hours per week


Work Environment

  • Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines

  • Combination of sitting and standing throughout the day
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a dynamic setting


Compensation

  • $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
