Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Operator to join our team at Global Industrial. This role involves operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring efficient and safe product movement.

About the Role
  • Fills customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a timely manner.
  • Operates equipment to move products efficiently and safely throughout the warehouse.
  • Uses an RF scanner gun to accurately select and retrieve products for customer orders.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares them for shipping or storage.
  • Assists the Receiving Department with unloading new merchandise from trucks as needed.
  • Supports the Inventory and Returns Department with day-to-day operations.
  • Performs various tasks related to material handling and assembly of lockers and cabinets.
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment required.
  • Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner required.
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings.
  • Able to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis in a productive environment.
  • Able to stand, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
