Parking Enforcement Student Job Description

The Corporation of Norfolk County is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Parking Enforcement Student. This position will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations in designated areas, while also gaining valuable experience in law enforcement and administration.

As a Parking Enforcement Student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Municipal Law Enforcement Officers and develop essential skills in investigation, evidence gathering, and courtroom testimony.

This is an excellent opportunity for students enrolled in Police Foundation programs or similar fields to gain hands-on experience and build their professional network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce parking regulations in designated areas
  • Investigate and process parking by-law infractions
  • Gather evidence and provide testimony in court as required
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of daily activities
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a Police Foundation program or similar field at a university or college
  • Valid Class G Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
